Fabio Zanon: Born in Jundiaí, a city north of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Fábio Zanon is one of most prominent classical guitarists today. Zanon began studying guitar under the guidance of his father and Professor Antonio Guedes. Later Fábio was studying with Edelton Gloeden and Henrique Pinto at the University of Sao Paulo (USP), and graduated in 1987.From 1990, he continued his studies under the guidance of Michel Lewin at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he obtained his master's degree in music from the University of London and participated in the series of master-classes of Julian Bream.

Fabio Zanon: Fabio Zanon’s activity as a teacher, chamber musician, conductor, author and broadcaster has significantly contributed to increasing the perception of the guitar in the wider musical scene.As a soloist, he has performed in more than 50 countries, at venues including Royal Festival Hall and Wigmore Hall in London, Philharmonie in Berlin, Carnegie Hall in New York, Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, Philharmonie in St Petersburg, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Sala São Paulo, Bozar in Brussels, and KKL in Lucerne.

He was born in Brazil and holds Brazilian and Italian citizenships. He first learned the guitar with his father, had his formal training with Antonio Guedes, and later studied with Henrique Pinto and Edelton Gloeden..

Fabio Zanon – Interview: The Romantic Guitar A wonderful interview with the legendary Brazilian guitarist Fabio Zanon. This video comes from the amazing GuitarCoop and their YouTubeChannel.
